you dreamed of something? Maybe become a professional soccer placer,
singer, chef, musician, writer, engineer or actress; a lot of them
suffered professions that require dedication, passion, patience and a
lot of sacrifice. In a constant battle of knocking from door to door, a
bunch that get closed and a few that really get to open, of delivering
tests, videos or demos and make things for free because there is no
support; most people will quit their dream and only a few will have the
guts to pursuit them, to make what they love without looking at how long
the battle is and keep fighting for it.
Gaby
and Jorge are just like that, they have a clown play impersonating
Azulé and Mortis that makes adults and tots laugh. They integrate their
makeup with other elements on stage that entertain everyone (Mortis has
this case where the puts everything) and their artistic capacity simply
impresses me. They are very kind and I only spoke with them for a few
minutes after their presentation, but they were always willing to attend
me with a smile albeit the tiredness and the extreme heat that stroke
yesterday. I just want to congratulate and wish you always the best… for doing what you love, for loving what you do, because dreams and ideas forge the world and you are willing to reach them. ■
[Español] ¿Alguna vez han tenido un sueño? Quizá ser futbolista profesional, cantante, chef, músico, escritor, ingeniera o actriz; muchas son profesiones sufridas que requieren de entrega, pasión, paciencia y sobre todo sacrificio. De estar batallando tocando de puerta en puerta, muchas que se cierran y pocas que se abren, de entregar pruebas o demostraciones y hacer cosas gratis porque no se tiene apoyo; muchos claudican en su intento y son pocos aquellos que se te atreven a seguir sus sueños, a hacer aquello que aman y sin importar que tan larga sea la batalla siguen luchando por salir adelante.
Así son Gaby y Jorge, tienen una obra clown infantil con los personajes de Azulé y Mortis que arranca risas a grandes y pequeños por igual. Integran su maquillaje con otros elementos que divierten sobre el escenario (Mortis tiene esta valija donde guarda todo) y la capacidad artística de ambos me parece impresionante. Son muy amables y aunque solo les quité pocos minutos después de su presentación, siempre estuvieron dispuestos a atender con una sonrisa a pesar del cansancio y el calor extremo que tuvimos ayer. Solo me resta felicitarlos y desearles lo mejor siempre… por hacer lo que quieren, por querer lo que hacen, porque de sueños e ideas se forja el mundo y ustedes están dispuestos a alcanzarlos. ■
